NexFirm started in 2008 when founder David DePietto embarked on a project to help one law firm launch in 30 days (Project Codename: The Nest). Along the way we learned how daunting it is to get a law firm going, and we realized that the needs of legal entrepreneurs were not being met in the market. The dearth of solutions for critical business functions, such as financial and operational planning, as well as end-to-end technology and operational solutions, were keeping attorneys from becoming founding partners of their own practices.

In early 2009, NexFirm set out to create a new way for small professional service firms to operate by offering an operational platform that lets attorneys focus on caring for clients and growing their business. Our goal is to empower our clients to be more successful than the average small firm. Through strategic financial planning and operational excellence we free up hundreds of hours wasted each year on administrative responsibilities so partners can focus on the betterment of the business.
