NexFirm started as a project to help a law firm launch in 30 days.  Along the way we realized that the needs of the small professional services firm were not being met in the market.  Particularly critical functions, such as financial and operational planning for startups, as well as end-to-end technology and operational solutions, needed to be addressed.

NexFirm was born, and set out to create a new way for small professional service firms to operate.  There are three legs to a services practice:  work product, business development and back office operations.  NexFirm assumes full responsibility for the operations so that the business owners can focus on the two disciplines that make their firm a success.  Our objective is to take one thousand wasted hours per year of administration and turn it into 800 hours of free time, giving owners the equivalent of four extra months per year to grow their business.

A second objective is to get firms off of the “hours treadmill”.  Given that expenses grow rapidly each year against a finite number of hours to bill, firms are forced to raise rates and lever up with associates just to maintain profitability.    NexFirm works to keep your expenses low and under control, so your growth turns into profits instead of extra effort without benefit.
